Faversham Road lies in Seasalter - to the west of Whitstable, in Kent, in the south east of England. The part of Faversham Road that lies between the Blue Anchor and Sportsman public houses is directly on the coast and is low-lying, and has been identified as an area likely be lost to the sea over time.

The Faversham Road Residents Association works to give a voice to people who live, and own businesses and holiday properties on this stretch of coast. We believe this place is worth protecting now and in the future for those of us who live here, for visitors, and for the area as a whole. We also believe it is essential that people most affected by decisions made about this area for example about sea defences or development control be given a proper voice in the setting of policy.

We hope that members of the Residents Association will use this site to share information with each other, and that representatives of local authorities and government bodies will also see it as an opportunity for constructive communication with us. Ultimately, however, we hope that this site will give all visitors a sense of this unique and wonderful place.
